SHARI REED, Head coach

Reed’s career record as the UC women’s tennis coach is 170-63 through the 2009 Spring season. 

Her teams have made four NCAA Regional appearances.

Under Reed’s guidance, UC has been honored six times as Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic teams. 

In her 13 years at Charleston, four UC players have been named WVIAC Player of the Year.

Reed has been named WVIAC Coach of the Year in 2000, 2005 and 2008 while also named the ITA Atlantic
Region Coach of the Year for 2009.  

In 2006, Reed surpassed Larry Cochran (119 wins) as UC’s all-time leader in wins in women's tennis.

In addition, Reed led the UC men to two WVIAC titles with an overall record of 63-20.

Reed will be inducted into the UC Hall of Fame in 2009.
