The University of Charleston Women's Soccer Program let one get away as Shippenburg defeated the Golden Eagles 4-2 at Triana Field on Sunday afternoon.
UC's Taryn Conklin recorded the first goal of the match 6:40 in off of an assist from Sharon Lapinsky.
Lisa Findlay scored two unassisted goals late in the first half, 37:31 and 44:10 respectively to give Shippensburg a 2-1 lead going into half.
Shippenburg notched the next two goals and UC's Caitlin Shaw completed the days scoring with a PK at the 86:08 mark.
UC out shot Shippensburg 18 to 8. Shippensburg scored on 50% of shots taken.
In the goal, Shippensburg keeper Beth Long recorded nine saves and UC's Whitney Sharp recored two saves.
The Golden Eagles play WV Wesleyan at Triana Field on Wednesday evening at 7pm.
