UC Moves Up to No. 6 in Latest National Poll

The University of Charleston women's basketball team moved up one spot to No. 7 in this week's USA Today/ESPN/WBCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll released earlier today.  The Golden Eagles concluded regular season play last night at Concord at defeated the Mt. Lions 81-64 to improve to 25-2 on the season and 17-1 in conference play. 

WVIAC rival Glenville State jumped two spots to No. 4.  Wheeling Jesuit was also listed among the schools receiving votes.

WVIAC Tournament action will begin next week, with the first round of games being played on campuses, followed by the remainder of the tournament at the Charleston Civic Center from March 1-4.
