Lee Grabs Third WVIAC Player of the Week Award

Charleston's Lisa Lee (Sr., F, Charleston, WV) grabbed her third WVIAC Player of the Week award on the season.  Lee paced the No.7 Golden Eagles to three wins on the week over Salem International, Davis & Elkins, and Shepherd with averages of 20.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.7 steals per game.  The former Capital HS standout had 24 points and 9 rebounds in Saturday's win over Shepherd.  Lee also tallied her third double-double performance on the season against Davis & Elkins on January 19 with 21 points and 10 rebounds.  On the week, Lee made 23 of 40 field goals (.575) and 15 of 17 free throws (.882) scoring 61 points.

Lee shares this week's honor with Glenville State's Denae Dobbins (Sr., C, Glenville, WV).  Dobbins averaged 19.7 points, 17.0 rebounds, and 6.3 blocked shots per game as No. 6 Glenville State also posted three wins on the week.  Dobbins ran her double-double streak to six games after compiling a double-double in each contest last week.  The Glenville native had 21 points and as many rebounds in Monday's win over regionally ranked Pitt-Johnstown.
