
Lee Named WVIAC Player of the Week, Again
Charleston’s Lisa Lee is the West Virginia Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for January 24-30.
Lee (6-0, Jr., F, Charleston, WV) earns the award for a second straight week. Lee averaged 24.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game in victories against
Glenville State and Alderson-Broaddus at Eddie King Gym.
The former Capital HS standout established career bests with 30 points and 15 rebounds in Thursday’s win over defending WVIAC regular season champion Glenville State. She added a second double-double on the week of 19 points and 10 rebounds in Saturday’s triumph over Alderson-Broaddus as the nationally ranked Golden Eagles improved to 18-2 overall, 11-0 in WVIAC play.
