Sam Meyer Named WVIAC Volleyball Player of the Week

The University of Charleston's Sam Meyer is the WVIAC Volleyball Player of the Week for September 6-12. The sophomore setter led UC to victories over Gannon, Mount Olive, Belmont Abbey, and Slippery Rock in the Capital City Classic. The Lebanon, Ohio native compiled 151 assists, 19 kills, and a 2.96 hitting percentage in the four wins. She also chipped in with 18 digs as UC was the only team in the ten-team field to finish with an unblemished record.
