Volleyball Classic Starts 9-7-07
The Charleston House Holiday Inn Volleyball Classic will get under way today (9-7-07) and continue through Saturday at Eddie King Gym on the University of Charleston’s campus.
The event has expanded to 10 teams this year.
The West Virginia Conference teams competing are West Virginia State, Concord, Alderson-Broaddus, Glenville State and UC. Other schools in the Classic are East Stroudsburg (Pa.), Bowie State (Md.), University of Findlay (Ohio), Wayne State (Neb.) and Johnson C. Smith University from Charlotte.
UC returns three All-WVC first-team selections in Becca LaBrake, Katy Skelley and Roslyn Adams.
