Capital City Classic All-Tournament Team Announced

Following the conclusion of the 13th Annual Capital City Classic Volleyball Tournament this past weekend, Coach Stevens is proud to announce the All-Tournament Team members.

Kristina Eisenmenger from Northern Kentucky University was selected the tournament's Most Valuable Player.   The 6-1 freshman opposite hitter led NKU to an undefeated 4-0 record at the Capital City Classic.  Rockhurst University was the only other undefeated team on the weekend and placed Rachel Fowler on the All-Tournament squad.  Fowler, a 6-2 sophomore middle hitter dominated opposing competitors and has helped to lead Rockhurst to a No. 22 national ranking.

UC's Roslyn Adams (So., Fleetwood, Pa.) was the lone Golden Eagle selected to the All-Tournament squad.  The 5-9 defensive specialist/libero demonstrated consistent play throughout the tournament and was instrumental in UC's wins over Mars Hill and Barton.
