Kelli Gora

Kelli Gora begins her third year as an assistant for the volleyball program.  Kelli is a graduate of the University of Charleston in which she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training, with a minor in Leadership.  Coach Gora played in both the setter and defensive specialist position throughout her volleyball career. “Kelli is a true competitor and that is why I recruited her to the University of Charleston 6 years ago,” said Stevens.  “I like her intensity and her drive both on and off the court.  Kelli is a wonderful role model for our athletes,” stated Stevens.   Coach Gora will be taking on some additional duties this year as she has become a full time assistant coach at the university.  Her new title brings new responsibility which includes but is not limited to, recruiting coordinator, assisting in all practices and games, and being in charge of the team’s academic standings.  She is also a Certified Athletic Trainer and will be acting as the Softball trainer in the spring. 

Gora and her husband David have a one year old son named Chase and reside in South Charleston, West Virginia.
