MARIETTA, Ohio The University of Charleston men's and women's track teams competed in the Marietta (Oh.) Open #2 Indoor Track meet on Feb. 2, 2007. Both Golden Eagles teams finished in fourth place in their respective team divisions.

UC individual winners were Joy Peterson (55 Meter Dash) and Mike Williams (300 Meter Dash).

MARIETTA, OH The University of Charleston men's and women's track teams competed in the marietta Alumni Indoor Meet on Feb. 9, 2007.

The Golden Eagles women and men finished third and second respectively.

UC individual and team first place finishes included Joy Peterson (Women's 55 Meter Dash), Erin Dillion (Women 1 Mile Run), Rebekah Daniel (80 Meter Run), UC Women's 4x400 team (Dillion, Daniel, Peterson and Jessica Racer), Sanjay Gauntlette (Men 55 Meter Dash),  Chris DeMaria (Men 500 Meter Run), Brandon Scarberry (800 Meter Run), Corey Mehl (3000 Meter Run), UC Men 4x200 meter team (Gauntlette, Augustino Adams, Anthony Smith, Tom Samples), UC men's 4x400 team (Adams, Samples, Bret Kessler and Mike Williams), UC Men's Distance Medly team (Louis Gusbar, Daniel Roush, Homer Cobb and Evan Stair), Mike McCall (Men's High Jump).
