Swann Earns All-American Honors

A pair of West Virginia Conference field athletes have earned All-American status at the 2006 NCAA Division II Indoor Track Championships.

Charleston's Candace Swann (Waldorf, MD), a two-time All-American, finished third in the women's weight throw with a toss of 56'10".

Concord's John Paul Blankenship (Athens, W.Va, Sr.) placed seventh in the men's shot put with a distance of 53'6". The former PikeView HS multi-sport athlete is a past All-American in the outdoor meet.
