Lewis wins the league's weekly pitching honor again following a 5-1 week with an 0.70 earned run average...The Sissonville, WV senior fanned 11 hitters during a no-hitter victory against U.Va.-Wise...She also recorded 12 strikeout games in triumphs against Salem International and Concord...In addition, Lewis blasted a home run versus Concord.
WVIAC Pitcher of the Week, April 9, 2007
Lewis continued her dominance in league action with 46 strikeouts during a 6-0 week...She notched a pair of shutouts last Monday against Fairmont State and fanned 21 hitters in a twinbill sweep of Alderson-Broaddus...For the week, Lewis contributed an 0.95 earned run average for the league-leading Golden Eagles.
WVIAC Pitcher of the Week: April 2, 2007
Lewis pitched Charleston to a doubleheader sweep of Bluefield State with complete game victories in each contest...The senior tossed her second no-hitter of the season in the 2-0 game one victory and followed with an 8-1 triumph...She fanned 17 hitters in the two contests.
WVIAC Pitcher of the Week: March 19, 2007
Lewis went 8-0 during Charleston's spring break action with a no-hitter versus Utica...She fanned 103 hitters during the week, including 16 in a victory against Rio Grande.
