Lewis garners second WVIAC honor

Andrea Lewis has been named the WVIAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season.

Lewis pitched Charleston to a doubleheader sweep of Bluefield State with complete game victories in each contest...The senior tossed her second no-hitter of the season in the 2-0 game one victory and followed with an 8-1 triumph...She fanned 17 hitters in the two contests.

Lewis went 8-0 during Charleston's spring break action with a no-hitter versus Utica...She fanned 103 hitters during the week, including 16 in a victory against Rio Grande.
