Andre Lewis pitched a four-hit shutout, and Cindy Zander knocked in three runs as the University of Charleston defeated Glenville 8-0 to salvage a split of a softball doubleheader Sunday at UC.

For the Golden Eagles (23-18 overall, 17-12 West Virginia Conference), Michelle Sabelhaus had three hits and Krystal Robertson two hits in the nightcap. In the first game, Glenville defeated UC 3-1.

Lewis, the losing pitcher in the opener, is 17-12.
