WHEELING - Top seed University of Charleston is showing the way after day one of the NCAA Division II Men's East Region Golf Tournament at Speidel Golf Club after firing a total of 301. The Golden Eagles hold a one shot lead over Millersville University at 302 and a five shot edge over third place Ohio Valley at 306.
Concord’s Darcy Donaldson and Ohio Valley’s Gianni Hild share the individual lead, each finishing with a one-over-par 72. They hold a one shot lead over Millersville’s Chris Kasper (73) and a two shot edge over Charleston’s Stephen Maynard (74).
