Todd Captures Individual Championship

The University of Charleston’s Michael Todd captured the individual championship Tuesday at the two-day Fairmont State Invitational at Pete Dye Golf Club. Ohio Valley captured its sixth tournament title this season by nine strokes over Fairmont State.

Todd shot 3-over-par 75 to go with his even-par 72 Monday for a two-day total of 3-over-par 147 on the 7,020-yard course. West Liberty State’s B.J. Tulodzieski took second at 5-over-par 149. Ohio Valley, which is the top team in the East Region rankings, turned in a 615 while Fairmont State was at 624. UC, which is second in the East Region, finished fifth with a 628.
