FREE UNIVERSITY OF CHARLESTON FOOTBALL TICKETS COURTESY OF TRIANA ENERGY

CHARLESTON, W.Va. All tickets to the University of Charleston’s football game versus Glenville State on Saturday, Nov. 10, at UC Stadium are available free of charge to the public thanks to Triana Energy. Kickoff between the Golden Eagles and Pioneers is set for 1 p.m.

“Triana Energy is extremely honored and excited to sponsor Saturday’s UC football game,” says Triana representative, and former UC player, Will Gillard. “We hope this game is a hit not only with the Golden Eagles football program and fans, but with the Greater Charleston community as well.”

Triana has distributed tickets to more than 115 non-profit organizations, local businesses and other associations throughout the Kanawha Valley as of today. Free tickets will be available at the UC Stadium ticket office on Saturday as well for anyone interested in attending. After the game, fans are invited to an autograph session with the Golden Eagles’ players and coaches on the field.

According to Gillard, Saturday’s game, titled “Triana Energy Day,” will be an important matchup as UC looks to go 8-3 and match their best season since reinstating the football program in 2003. The Golden Eagles (7-3, 5-2 WVIAC) also enter this weekend’s game versus Glenville State (6-4, 5-2 WVIAC) in a three-way tie for second place in the WVIAC conference with the Pioneers and West Liberty.

Triana Energy’s involvement with the Golden Eagles extends far beyond Saturday’s game, Gillard said. The Charleston-headquartered company sponsors the University of Charleston International Student Program, Triana Internship Program (TIP), UC’s new Executive MBA graduate program and Triana Field, the school’s soccer and baseball complex.

Triana Energy, LLC is a privately-held company that is one of the most aggressive companies exploring and developing energy and precious metals in the eastern United States and the Canadian Maritimes.
