UC finishes # 9 in NCAA Northeast Region
INDIANAPOLIS The NCAA Division II Football Committee has released this week’s final NCAA Division II football poll. The top 12 teams in the Northeast region are listed along with their records through games of November 10, 2007.
Three West Virginia Conference squads are among the region's top nine. # 2 Shepherd earned a first round playoff bye and will host the winner of the Indiana (PA)-West Chester contest on November 24. # 8 West Liberty State and # 9 Charleston each narrowly missed qualifying for the postseason, but posted the highest regional finishes in school history for both programs.
