Charleston ranked No. 7 in NCAA Northeast Region
INDIANAPOLIS-The NCAA Division II Football Committee has released this week's NCAA Division II Northeast Region football poll. The top 12 teams in the region are listed along with their records through games of October 13, 2007.
#6 Shepherd is the highest ranked WVIAC squad. Charleston moves up to #7. Glenville State makes their first appearance in the poll this season at #12.
The top six squads at the completion of the regular season advance to the NCAA Division II football playoffs.
Northeast Region:
1. Bryant (6-0)
2. West Chester (6-1)
3. California (Pennsylvania) (7-0)
4. Indiana (Pennsylvania) (5-1)
5. Slippery Rock (6-1)
6. Shepherd (6-1)
7. Charleston (West Virginia) (6-2)
8. Stonehill (4-2)
9. Edinboro (5-2)
10. Southern Connecticut State (4-3)
11. Bentley (4-2)
