Charleston climbs to #6 in NCAA Northeast Region

INDIANAPOLISThe NCAA Division II Football Committee has released this week's NCAA Division II football poll. The top 12 teams in the Northeast region are listed along with their records through games of October 20, 2007.

Three West Virginia Conference squads remain in the ratings. Shepherd and the University of Charleston moved up one spot each to #5 and #6. Glenville State is ranked tenth.

The top six squads at the conclusion of the regular season advance to the NCAA Division II football playoffs.
