Final results from the 2008 WVIAC Invitational Meet are in
UC's men finished 8th while the Golden Eagles women came in 7th at the WVIAC Meet, held in Wheeling. Top UC performers included Sanjay Gauntlette (second place in the Men's 100 meter), Aaron Dunlap (third in the men's Pole Vault), Sarah Stalnaker (fourth in the Women's Hammer Throw), the Men's 4x100 relay team (fifth place: Aaron Higdon, Terrance Spencer, Sanjay Gauntlette and Brett Kessler) and the Men's 4x400 relay team (fifth place: Grant Brinson, Quinn Sanders and Terrance Spencer).

Golden Eagles open 2008 Indoor Track season at Mount Union
The University of Charleston men’s and women’s indoor track teams participated in the Mount Union College Open meet in Alliance, OH on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008. Andre Higgins (high jump) and Sanjah Gauntlette (55 meter dash) were point scorers for UC, along with the 4x160 meter relay team. - February 10, 2008
