New Baseball Divisions Ahead for WVIAC

WVIAC Going to Three Divisions for Baseball

Changes are coming for West Virginia Conference baseball in 2008.

 

WVIAC baseball will expand to a three-divisional setup with the addition of Pitt-Johnstown and Seton Hill.  The top squads in each division will advance to the six-team WVIAC Tournament starting in 2008.  Here is a look at the divisional setup for next season and beyond:

Baseball Divisions beginning in 2008

Southern Division: Bluefield State, Charleston, Concord, Ohio Valley, West Virginia State.

 

Central Division: Alderson-Broaddus, Davis & Elkins, Fairmont State, Salem International, West Virginia Wesleyan.

 

Northern Division: Seton Hill, Shepherd, Pitt Johnstown, West Liberty State, Wheeling Jesuit.
