Golden Eagles' LIVE Webstream

The University of Charleston has introduced a brand new way for its fans, alumni, students, parents and supporters to follow the Golden Eagles athletic teams. In a partnership with TRZ-TEAMLINE, a select offering of University of Charleston athletic events are being broadcast live and archived online from the Golden Eagles Sports Network.

There are many options available for listeners.

• Listen online LIVE by clicking here.
• AM 580 WCHS will also offer live web streaming of all Men’s Golden Eagle Basketball games at their website, www.58WCHS.com.
• Listen to archived games streamed directly through any computer, available the morning following a game for free. Games will be archived for approximately one year.
• Games will also be available for purchase, with the game sound file downloaded permanently on your computer and with the ability to download onto a portable device.
• Own a broadcast by downloading an archive.  Once on the broadcast site, click on the icon “Own this game forever, Buy an archive”.
• If access to a computer is not available, a person can listen to the live play-by-play from any telephone for $5 per game. To access a game via  any telephone just dial 216-502-3200. Enter team code 4354 when prompted. Long distance charges may apply depending on your particular long distance plan or provider.

Additionally, the University of Charleston is pleased to introduce Pat Hyman as this season's "Voice of the Golden Eagles" for Men's and Women's basketball programs. Hyman has worked as a broadcaster for the University of South Carolina-Spartanburg and the Columbia (SC) Mets. He also was the announcer for the CSTV.com webcast of the University of Charleston homecoming football game in 2007.

The number of games being broadcast has increased significantly from years past, including 14 women’s and men’s basketball doubleheaders. A total of 34 men’s and women’s basketball games are currently scheduled to be available. Plans are being made to do additional athletic events and campus events in the future.
