The University of Charleston is pleased to announce a media partnership with West Virginia Radio Corporation (WVRC). As a result, all football games, all men's basketball games and over a dozen women's basketball games will be broadcast on WKAZ AM and WKAZ FM, the Voice of UC! The UC Golden Eagle football team kicks off the 2008 season at 1 p.m. Saturday at Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee. You may listen to the action live on WKAZ 680 AM or 95.3 FM (in the Charleston area). Pat Hyman is the new voice of the Golden Eagles, and Andy Spradling will provide color commentary.
The game will also be webcast on www.58wchs.com. Look for the “Listen Live” prompt with the UC logo on the right side of the home page and click on the UC logo.
The team’s home opener is at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, against St. Augustine (NC). Tickets will be free to the game courtesy of Suddenlink.
