Matthew Leffew, '09
He joined the Class of 2014 at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) in Lewisburg, W.Va., on August 2, 2010. Leffew will receive his white coat during the annual Convocation and White Coat Ceremony on Sept. 11. He will earn a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree (D.O.) after successfully completing the four-year medical education program at WVSOM. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UC.

Amy Marshall, undergraduate '02 and MBA '04
Fort Bend (Texas) Professional Women’s Association has recognized her for her work with Feld Entertainment, Inc., the largest provider of live family entertainment. From the North Carolina market, Amy traveled the country and handled all the marketing and sales for her area market. Recently relocated to Houston, Amy is looking forward to exciting and new opportunities with Feld.

Named new CEO at Wythe County Community Hospital, Wytheville, Virginia, starting September 7, 2010. Earned MBA at UC in 1993. Previously held leadership positions at Thomas Health System in South Charleston, West Virginia.

Is now director and lead instructor of the Minerva Center for Academic Success in Charleston, West Virgnia. See the Charleston Daily Mail article "Educator Sees New School as Her Mission."

Bren Stevens, '80
She steps down as a winning Cross Lanes swim coach while maintaining her duties at UC as Associate Athletlic Director, Women's Volleyball Coach, and as a senior woman administration.

Bob Brown, '58
He was chosen to be the Grand Marshal of the Coal Festival in Boone County this summer. Bob played football at Morris Harvey College and currently serves on our Hall of Fame selection committee. He's a great guy and still very involved at UC. Bob is also the grandfather of current UC student, and SGA president, Jordan Knabb.
