Grants Information

Pell Grants are available to students who apply and meet the eligibility criteria determined by the U.S. Department of Education.  In 2007-08 grants will range from $400 to $4,310 depending upon the student's financial need.

Pennsylvania - Rhode Island - Vermont - Delaware Higher Education Grants are available. The grant is based on the student's financial need and determined by the individual state grant agency.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants are federally-funded grants for students with exceptional financial need and range from $200 to $1,000 per year depending upon the student's need.

West Virginia Higher Education Grants are available to West Virginia residents and in 2006-07 are valued at $3,758. These grants are based on a student's financial need, academic performance and grade point average.

Athletic-Grant-In-Aid awards are made to individuals who are outstanding athletes. Awards are determined by the coach of each sport.

Resident Advisor and Peer Educator awards are available for residential upperclassmen whose primary responsibilities are to provide campus-based programming as well as counseling and tutorial services. Students apply through the Office of Student Life.
