Hobbies: I love to read, shop, and travel. I also enjoy most kinds of outdoor activities…during the warm weather months, at least!

Hometown: Richmond, KY

A little about my family: I am very close to my family! I have great parents and grandparents. I also have a wonderful older sister and brother-in-law! My family all live in Kentucky, so I try to go and see them as often as I’m able.

Favorite Restaurant: Charleston has so many great places to eat! It’s hard to pick just one favorite! Some of mine include Lola’s, Bluegrass Kitchen and Fazio’s. And the Better Batter ice cream at Maggie Moo’s is my guilty sweet tooth pleasure!

Favorite thing to do in town: I love the different festivities and community events that happen on the river during the summertime! I also really enjoy going to Appalachian Power Park to watch the West Virginia Power play some baseball…my favorite sport!

Why UC? The University of Charleston has so many great things to offer. The classes are small and personal so students receive individualized attention, and the campus is in a prime location for internships and “real world” work experience. There are so many things to do on and off campus that really make the college experience not only beneficial, but also fun!
