University of Charleston

University of Charleston

The University of Charleston has been designated a “Military Friendly” school in part because we understand the challenges and needs of military students.

Our classes are geared to do two things: engage you in active learning and help you grow as a leader. Our faculty is both dedicated and student-oriented, offering a wealth of professional experience. Most also have a prior military background.

UC provides the flexibility you need in dealing with deployment issues and will work to enable you to continue your education. Many of our students are actively serving while taking classes, participating in courses online from all over the world.

Frank Bowyer, our Director of Military Services, is available to answer questions about the admissions, enrollment, and military benefits processes. He can be reached at 304-352-0052 or frankbowyer@ucwv.edu

Active duty service members must receive approval from their Education Services Officer (ESO) prior to enrolling in classes. Be sure to discuss your education plans with your ESO as soon as possible.
