The Associate in Arts Degree Nursing (ADN) Program at the University of Charleston is two full academic years in length. Graduates are eligible to apply to take the national licensing examination called the NCLEX-RN®. Upon passing the exam, the graduate will be a Registered Nurse (RN), qualified for employment in entry level staff nurse positions in a variety of settings.
The ADN program is fully accredited by the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses and National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
