The University of Charleston is currently seeking a part-time mathematics and science tutor to provide assistance to UC students. This person will report to the Director of Learning Support Services.
The successful candidate must possess a professional demeanor, have excellent interpersonal and public interaction skills, be organized, detail oriented, and able to maintain strict confidentiality of information. Primary responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, tutoring students (20 hours a week) in college math, algebra, calculus, science, chemistry, and physics. The applicant should have a relevant Master’s degree. Teaching experience is preferred.
