The University of Charleston is seeking a full time Notebook/Hardware Support Specialist.
Duties of this position include: support of notebook computers as related to the notebook lease program within the School of Pharmacy and classroom / office PC support.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or possess substantial relative experience. PC (Windows XP) notebook experience is essential and related to: a) Wireless networking; b) Virus/Spyware Removal; c) Hardware/Software Troubleshooting/Warranty repair; d) Disk imaging.
Additionally, experience in Server/Network/Database Administration & .NET web development would be beneficial.
Applicant must be dependable and possess a professional demeanor, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be customer service oriented. In addition, the candidate should be self-motivated and have strong information organizational skills.
