Under the supervision of the Director of Audiovisual Services, the AV Assistant will assist with the delivery and operation of equipment to classrooms, provide support for University events, provide services to external groups as requested, provide audio and/or video taping of events, and assist faculty, staff, students in need of video and audio production or editing services.
The successful candidate should possess knowledge of computers, video projection equipment, video production and editing, and the operation of theatrical sound and lighting equipment. Thorough knowledge of the hardware, software and techniques necessary to provide audio and video services will also be essential.
The position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and the physical ability to move heavy equipment between buildings and floors of buildings. A requirement for employment will be a criminal background check. Interested applicants should forward resumés to the Director of Audiovisual Services.
