Assistant Professor in Broadcasting/Communications
The Communication Program at the University of Charleston seeks candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in Broadcasting/Communications. Candidates should have broad undergraduate-level teaching abilities in video and audio production as well as media writing. The successful candidate will teach 24 credit hours per academic year, including six in the first-year program. Other responsibilities may include developing and overseeing a student-run Internet radio station and producing the university's video news magazine, "UC on the Move." The terminal degree in a relevant field is expected, and industry experience is recommended.
