The Morrison Fitness Center offers a state-of-the-art workout facility for students, faculty and staff.

The Center offers includes cardiovascular, free weights and machine weight equipment. There are also two classrooms for fitness classes that can include Body Bootcamp, yoga, total body workouts and more (the schedule will be posted outside the classrooms).

You can gain access to the Fitness Center by using your UC ID card.

Please Note:

  • The Fitness Center is accessible ONLY to current University of Charleston students, faculty, and staff. 
  • Each user has a personal responsibility to use the provided cleaning supplies prior to and immediately following the use of all equipment
  • Unless otherwise noted, the Fitness Center is not available when the University is closed.
  • Items such as bands, jump ropes, and weight vests may be checked out at the front desk of the facility by exchanging a UC ID card to one of the front desk employees. Items must be returned within an hour. 
  • Proper dress is required: NO jeans, belts, boots, high heels. 
  • Shirts are mandatory.
  • No Fitness Center equipment is to leave the facility without authorization. 
  • Food is not permitted in the workout areas. 
  • Chalk in not permitted. 

Excessive weight slamming is not permitted.
