Ben Beakes is a 2002 graduate of the University of Charleston. He comes back to his alma mater from the political arena where he served as Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Betty Ireland and most recently as State Director of the John McCain campaign. Ben will be works with the overall development effort of the University and welcomes any questions you may have.
Bridgette Borst

Bridgette Borst is a 2007 graduate of the University of Charleston. Bridgette has experience as the director of student activities at UC, and as a television news reporter in Wheeling, WV. She is the liaison for alumni and parents, and is responsible for planning alumni and family events, managing social media for alumni, finding classmates, and coordinating reunions, in addition to assisting parents of current students with their needs.

Tina Wright began working at the University of Charleston in 2002 as a donor researcher and is now the Director of Advancement Services. Her job is to identify and research potential donors, coordinate efforts of our fundraisers, and oversee department database recordkeeping and reporting. Tina's previous work experience has been in the banking, advertising, and non-profit industries.
Stephanie Martin

Stephanie Martin is a 1999 graduate of the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Sociology and Psychology. She has spent much of her professional career working in the buying offices of corporate retailers where she has gained experience with business, marketing, and PR strategies. Morgan Pore is a 2005 graduate of Capital University with a B.A. in Public Relations and Communication. She has spent much of her career in event planning and fundraising, most recently serving as Director of the American Cancer Society in Northeast Kentucky. Morgan joined the Advancement Office in August 2010 and serves as the Gift Coordinator. She welcomes any questions you may have regarding gift opportunities at the University.
Dawn McCoy

Dawn McCoy rejoined the advancement staff in August, 2010. She is responsible for greeting guests, processing all gifts received, maintaining constituent records, and assisting other advancement staff. Dawn has extensive experience in administration and customer service, having been the administrative assistant to the CEO of the Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce and the Regional Director for Modern Woodmen of America.
