Greetings and welcome!

This is a very exciting time in PA Education and especially for our Physician Assistant Program at the University of Charleston! On January 7, 2013, the inaugural class of thirty students started a historic journey to become the program’s first graduates. During the first sixteen months of their didactic phase, the curriculum will include innovative approaches to education including substantive skills training, the use of patient models, and problem- and team-based learning. This will be followed by ten clinical experiential rotations including the opportunity for a specialty elective. The program is rigorous but the rewards are unimaginable.

We are now accepting applications for our next class matriculating January 2014. All requested information must be received before August 1, 2013. Since we utilize the rolling admissions process, the class may fill before the close of the cycle, so early submission of applications is strongly recommended. 

In my role as Admissions Coordinator I will be assisting you with learning more about our program and guiding you through the application procedure. Feel free to contact me with any questions during the admissions process.
