Pharmacy is about ensuring that patients utilize their medications safely and effectively. At the UC School of Pharmacy, we want to demystify pharmacy and improve patient health through strong communication and education.
School of Pharmacy Curriculum
In addition to classwork, UC student pharmacists can enhance their education through advocacy opportunities, community outreach programs, interprofessional collaborative projects with other UC health programs, and more.
Students can earn certifications in Immunizations, Medication Therapy Management, Point of Care Testing, and Oncology (included in your tuition), as well as additional certifications in diabetes and cardiovascular risk management.
With our dual degree program, UC School of Pharmacy students can add a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a healthcare concentration or a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership (MSSL) degree, both ACBSP accredited, to their PharmD at no additional cost. Both degrees can be completed in four years – the same time it takes to complete the traditional PharmD degree.
