The University of Charleston ranked as top ranked nursing program in West Virginia
Charleston WV - The University of Charleston has been listed as the third highest ranking Bachelor of Science Nursing program in West Virginia by Registerednursing.org.
Registerednursing.org ranked the top 10 nursing schools in West Virginia by analyzing current and historical NCLEX-RN "pass rates", meaning the percentage of graduates who pass the exam, out of the 26 RN programs in the state. Programs reviewed include schools that offer an Associate in Nursing (ADN/ASN), BSN, or Direct-Entry MSN Degree.
This is the second year that the UC BSN program has been ranked by the website.
Registererednursing.org is a website created by an organization of registered nurses who promote excellence in nursing through enabling future nurses with the tools they need to succeed.
Twenty six West Virginia schools were reviewed, and ten were listed in the rankings.

The site noted “Partnerships, interactive faculty, assignments with other students, and collaboration with outside clinicians all make the BSN program at University of Charleston stand out. Upon completion, graduates are geared for success with confidence, knowledge, and skills.”
