UC Team Wins Tri-State Jeopardy Championship

On Friday, April 20, 16 UC psychology students traveled to West Liberty University’s Highlands Conference Center in Triadelphia, WV, for the Tri-State Undergraduate Psychology Conference.  Many participated in paper and poster sessions. In addition, students from WVU presented a workshop on Teaching Child-Directed Interaction in Parent-Child Therapy.

The keynote speaker, Iraqi war veteran Sgt. Anthony Anderson, shared information on the moral injury he experienced as a result of his military service. He is featured in a PBS film, “Almost Sunrise.”

The highlight of the day was the Jeopardy tournament.  Our UC PSYC Team won the Jeopardy Championship and brought home the trophy beating defending champ Marietta.

Drs. Spiker, Bayly and Cardell accompanied the students. The three faculty members are pictured with the students in the group picture.
