UC School of Pharmacy to Present Fighting the Opioid Abuse Epidemic at the St. Albans Moose Lodge

(Charleston, WV) – University of Charleston School of Pharmacy Assistant Professor Lindsay Acree will present “Fighting the Opioid Abuse Epidemic” at the St. Albans Moose Lodge, 113 West Main Street, St. Albans, WV Friday, November 9, 2018.  Included in the presentation will be naloxone education and training in administering the medication. Narcan® (naloxone) is the medication administered to reverse a drug overdose.  The program will begin at 7:00pm.  The event is free and open to the public.  For more information on the program, please contact Pamela Valentine, pamieanne@hotmail.com , St. Albans Moose Lodge Retention Chair.
