UC Radiologic Technology Program has 100% Passage Rate


Charleston, W.Va. – University of Charleston’s Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology students achieved a 100% passage rate for the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) examination. Successful completion of the ARRT exam grants certification required for licensure in West Virginia and most other states. 

The AART exam assesses fundamental knowledge and skills needed for a job in the radiology field. The national passage rate for the exam was 88.4% in 2015 and 87.2% in 2016. (2017 rates not available.)

The Radiologic Technology program is offered at the University of Charleston’s Beckley location.
