The University of Charleston ranked as top ranked nursing program in West Virginia

Charleston WV - The University of Charleston has been ranked as the second highest ranking Bachelor of Science Nursing program in West Virginia by Registerednursing.org.

Registererednursing.org is a website created by an organization of registered nurses who promote excellence in nursing through enabling future nurses with the tools they need to succeed.

Nursing programs were assessed on several factors which represent how well a program supports students towards licensure and beyond, including past and present NCLEX-RN “pass-rates” - weighted by year. 

West Virginia University was ranked first, with a score of 93.88

University of Charleston was second, with a score of 93.81

Eastern West Virginia Community & Technical College was third, and received a score of 92.69

A total of twenty five West Virginia Schools were listed in the rankings.
