Taryn Conklin, Milwaukee, WI, recorded 4 goals with her biggest coming against WV Wesleyan. Caitlin Shaw came on strong as the season progressed and contributed 1 goal and assisted on four.
Congratulations to the Golden Eagles for placing seven players on the All Conference team, the most in school history. The team finished with a 10-10 record and 8-3 in the WVIAC. “A disappointing ending to a season that brought us closer to the realization that we could beat anyone on any given day. The team has demonstrated that we are not to be taken lightly in or out of conference. Despite losing several tight games against top 10 regional opponents, we were in the games with opportunities to win. The future is bright for the program and we are eager to begin spring conditioning. All of our preparation from this point forward is to get better and ultimately win a conference championship. I am proud of the teams achievements as a team and individually. The seniors have made great contributions to the program and will be missed,” said Coach Diuguid.
