Free Cyber Security Summit

Charleston, WV – From securing your mobile device, staying safe from public Wi-Fi attacks, and learning more about your cyber footprint, cyber security is a hot topic.

October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month, and to support this effort locally, the University of Charleston will host a Cyber Security Summit, October 4, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The Summit will be held via WebEx, so attendees can participate from their office or home.

Presenters for the event will include the University’s Cyber Security department faculty and students, as well as other experts in the field. Topics will focus on the importance of staying safe online, and will be presented through a series of one hour, moderator-led sessions with some of the top industry professionals in West Virginia and beyond.
