Eric Halstead, Radiologic Science Instructor, Receives Award
(Charleston, WV) – The United Way of Central West Virginia has given its 2017 Helping Hand Award to Eric Halstead, Clinical Instructor at the University of Charleston’s Radiologic Science program.
Halstead has been a member of the United Way’s board of directors since 2015, and also serves on the Citizens Review Committee. He has served on the Resource and Development Committee, where he helped raise funds in a campaign telethon.
In its announcement, the United Way states that Halstead “also serves our community by encouraging students from the University of Charleston to become involved in volunteer work. With his help and support, UC students have participated in our annual Day of Caring for several years.”
Halstead also volunteers for the Boy Scouts of America and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
