To all MSU students:
MSU’s accreditation has been withdrawn as of December 31, 2012, and MSU is no longer an educational institution. The University of Charleston is the primary partner in MSU’s teach-out plan, and is planning to offer classes in Beckley, in Martinsburg, and in online programs beginning January 14, 2013. The information below should help you determine how to proceed with registration for the fall, and how to complete your degree.
Are you a current MSU student (on campus or online) and are unable to graduate by May 2013, but still want to complete your degree?
NOTE: The University of Charleston and Mountain State University are committed to maintaining current MSU tuition prices for eligible students. The University of Charleston has agreed to use MSU’s Fall 2012 charges for all current MSU students who take UC classes in Beckley, in Martinsburg, and in online programs during the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 semesters. This will cover all students involved in the MSU or UC teach-out (i.e., who will graduate in May 2013) as well as all other current students planning to transfer into UC’s programs in January.
