University of Charleston Institutional Review Board

All research with human subjects carried out by University of Charleston faculty and/or students must be approved by the UC IRB.  The IRB meets quarterly.  The 2011-2012 meeting dates are August 26, November 18, February 10 and May 4.  The following documents detail the procedure for submitting an application for approval of a research project.  Please submit both a paper copy and an electronic copy via e-mail to Juliana Serafin of all applicable forms.

All Principal investigators must complete or have completed the CITI Ethics training module within the past 3 years and have record of this completion on file with the UC IRB before submitting a proposal for review.
