    Financial and business matters for the University are managed through the following offices:

    Business Office

    The Business Office provides timely and accurate information in support of the learning environment of our students and the teaching, working and research endeavors of our faculty and staff within guidelines set forth by our state and national agencies, regulatory institutions and our Board of Trustees. The office is responsible for accounts payable, audit, payroll for students, faculty and staff, campus mail, copy services and a campus-wide system of budget control and accounting.

    Human Resources

    Student Financial Services

    The goal of the Financial Aid Office is to assist students and their families in financing the costs associated with attending the University of Charleston. The Financial Aid Office provides a variety of resources and information concerning all facets of financial aid including federal grants, UC scholarships and loans.

    Physical Plant

    It is the mission of the Physical Plant to operate, maintain, and preserve campus facilities and property to enhance the educational mission of the University of Charleston. The Physical Plant is responsible for the maintenance of University buildings and grounds, new construction and renovation, utilities, and mail service. These functions are carried out by a director, assistant director, and supervisors over functional areas of heating and cooling, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, custodial, grounds, and central warehouse.
